So mewhat ironically, they took over the building of a former garage that was specialized in exotics/high end vehicles (Top Gear Garage), whose owner was involved in a high speed crash while “test driving” his customer’s Lamborghini ...

My wife volunteered at a place that did this, but with bikes. It’s called BICAS. You can take a class and build a bike for free in exchange for teaching another class on how to build bikes. They had a whole warehouse filled with salvaged bike parts. Bought an old Nashiki Prestige from them when I was in college.
